Agora hosts evidence for whether or not genes are associated with Alzheimer's disease (AD). Agora also contains a list of over 600 nascent drug targets for AD that were nominated by AD researchers.
Recent Work
Most recent work involved creation of Gene Comparison interface that allows Alzheimer scientists to compare gene expressions accross various brain regions. The project was done as collaboration between Sage Bionetworks, Schema Design and General UI. Try it out!

Data Distribution Portals provide web interfaces for research consortia to exchange curated data and other digital resources among themselves, and with the broader research community. Sage is involved in supporting many community-specific knowledge portals, which provide researchers general information and the ability to explore datasets. We also release data periodically from across those communities.
Recent Work
Data Portals is a project that involved designing an effective way to disseminate data to various scientific communities. While the initial design was done for Neurofibromitosis Data Portal, the goal was to design and develop with sharp focus on reuse. Today, the same flexible and customizable design is used to host 8 separate communities, making Portals the workhorse of the core Sage data coordination business. Explore various portals!

To make it easier for scientists working in research consortia, academia, and industry to do their jobs, the Data, Tools and Platform team builds the Sage Data Platform, a collection of scalable and portable technologies that facilitate data, onboarding, validation, harmonization, sharing, exploration, and distributed analysis in cloud computing environments. The Sage Data Platform consists of a continuously evolving and expanding set of components that are designed and adapted to meet the needs of our projects, and to allow Sage to expand the scope of supported research over time.
